I am really bad at checking my emails. Don’t even get me started on the amount of unread messages I have. So when one fine day I checked mine, I had to filter out all the mails and go through them individually. Which was a task in itself. BUT, when my eyes landed on this email, from a fellow newbie, Christina whose blog is just excellent, I was beyond excited and happy, which led to this tedious task wiz past whilst I basked in this glory of bagging a nomination for the Sunshine Blogger.
It feels great to be acknowledged by such talented writers. When Christina (https://explorelaughdream.wordpress.com/) very kindly nominated me and said such nice words, I not only blushed a little but did a little jig in my room. #TrueStory
Now there are some rules to this, but don’t you worry. I have them all listed out below:
-Thank the person who nominated you and link back to their blog.
-Answer the 11 questions sent by the person who nominated you.
-Nominate 11 blogs to receive the award and write them 11 new questions.
-List the rules and display the Sunshine Blogger Award logo in your post and/or your blog.
Christina’s Questions/ My Answers time:
What inspired you to write a blog?
I have always had a love for reading and writing, as I am sure a lot of you over here do. I always pushed the writing on the internet as a blogger to the farthest corner of my mind. Not only did I question my writing but I asked myself again and again, what will I write about? I continued writing on the last pages of my copies, bits of paper, on the word document..anywhere really. All the thoughts that needed to be penned down.
Then one fine day, I found the courage and made the account….and didn’t post anything for quite a while. (Yeah. Wimp)
Now finally, I am somewhat a regular blogger. With few viewers and I am content with it!
What do you enjoy most about blogging?
All the words flowing in my head, all of them find the outlet here. And it feels comforting of sorts that I can look back and see what I was feeling on this day. And not just me but a lot of you with me go through what I was or am.
What makes you happy?
My dog. My family and friends. My own company. Quite addictive having a down time, sipping coffee and watching movies.
That reminds me- A great cup of coffee with an intense suspenseful book to go with it.
Where is your favorite place you’ve ever visited?
Goa, India. Beach, wind, tan, good food, amazing people…what’s not to like?
What’s on the top of your bucket list?
New Year’s in Times Square. Or visit as many Islands as possible (HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE ALL THE ISLANDS OMG)
Or a hot air balloon ride.
What’s your favorite movie or TV show?
Movie- Gone with the wind and Roman Holiday.
Tv Show- Friends and Pretty Little Liars.
If you had one super power, what would it be?
Making people happy with each other and themselves.
Or healing powers. (Or if I can be a bit evil then controlling people’s mind. Muahaha)
What is your favorite memory?
Spending a whole day in the beach with my family in Goa. Splashing water, swimming with the waves, watching the sunset. Aah, take me back!
If money was no object, what would you do all day?
Travel. Be adventurous. And eat amazing food with obviously, great company.
What one thing would you change if you had a do-over?
Study and SPECIALLY REVISE before every exam, because I always jumble up all the questions and write BS in the end. Especially because the question paper is going to be so easy.
Or participate in loads of activities in school.
If you could time travel, would you go to the past or future? Why?
Definitely past. Like the Victorian era. Or 1930’s in America.
I honestly think I was born in the wrong era. I love everything about those eras. From the way they dressed, to the way they spoke, to the music and movies. Everything.
They all have amazing blogs and such talented writers.
My 11 questions:
If you could be someone for a day, whom would you be?
What kind of music do you listen to?
What’s your favourite book and genre?
What is that one thing you haven’t achieved yet? And what is that one unattainable thing you want to achieve, if you could?
If you could pack up your bags and leave. Where would you go and why?
What do you do to cheer yourself up when you are feeling low?
What’s your weakness and have you ever tried working on it? (If not then DO IT)
Favorite piece of clothing and why?
What did you spurge on last?
A saying that you live by? (Motto or favourite quote)
How has blogging changed your life? (Even if it’s infinitesimal.)
